Children's Residential Home

Our Children's Residential Home provides round-the-clock care for 100 children aged up to three years. These children have been referred to us by court order, abandoned by their parents, orphaned, or belong to families suffering acute social problems. 3 babies were successfully adopted last year. Upon 3 years old, the babies are required by law to leave the centre and taken care by other institutions or their families. We also provide Emergency Residential Service effective June 2004.

Occasional Residential Child Care Service

Since March 2003, we operate an Occasional Residential Child Care Service on the 3rd floor of the HKSPC building in Portland Street. The aim of the service is to provide short-term assistance to families in crisis needing overnight childcare service. It will also help reduce the stress of working parents who have to work long or shift hours. Parents can use the night care service (from 9 pm to 9 am) or a 24 hour service.
