Join hands with families to provide professional and quality educare

At Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children, we strive to support children’s development and their families’ needs. Our day crèches offer professional daytime educare service for dual-career families to ease working parents’ burden, so that they can focus on building a better future for family and society. As there are more and more dual-working parents nowadays and most families have the nuclear structure (parents with one or two kids only), first-time parents are common and they usually lack the fundamental knowledge of child care, health care and child development. Nonetheless, many of them are eager to learn related knowledge and skills, and they have a high demand for professional child care services.

In view of this, HKSPC proactively expands our day crèche service. We launched Parent @ Super Start (P@SS) Project in November 2018 to provide support and parenting education for families that are raising 0- to 3-year-olds, so as to create the best nurturing environment for the children at their early stage of development. In this issue of Dream for Our Children, we share with you the story of Sze Yeung and her family – on how we join hands with families to provide the right support to each caretaker, and how we infuse families with our visions and skills of professional and quality educare through P@SS Project.
