Senior Technology Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, optimize, and support core network infrastructure, cloud environment, IT systems, and daily helpdesk operations.
  • Partner with external vendors and technical contractors to deploy digital solutions on schedule, within budget, and to standard.
  • Deliver technical expertise and execution support for enterprise digital transformation projects, system upgrades, and roadmap rollout.
  • Enforce IT governance frameworks, standard operating procedures, and incident response protocols to maintain operational continuity.
  • Help implement robust security protocols to protect sensitive data.
  • Contribute to building a proactive and solutions-oriented digital culture that supports the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.

 

Requirements:

  • A Higher Diploma / Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant IT / Digital experience, preferably in an NGO, social service, or public sector, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven track record in implementing and maintaining robust system protection services including system modernization, patch management, system monitoring, cybersecurity solutions, business continuity, resilience, backup and disaster recovery, data protection strategies.
  • Solid experience in Windows Server/IIS/SQL Server/MySQL platform, Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V/VM, Firewall, SAN management, Networking, WiFi, CCTV and IoT solutions.
  • Experience in cloud technology (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/VM hosting on AWS/Azure/AliCloud, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Microsoft Teams / Google Workspace Collaborative Platform, SharePoint Administration, Active Directory/EntraID).
  • Familiar with centralized monitoring and management solutions covering internet, WAN/LAN, WiFi, server capacity and storage, backup, disaster recovery, endpoint protection, cybersecurity, AD identity and access management services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, a proactive approach, and a mission-driven mindset committed to service excellence.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
