Rationale of the Project

  • Provide equal opportunities, promote inclusion and integration
  • Improve children’s self-esteem and independence
  • Advocate balanced development in addition to academic performance
  • Enhance parent-child relationship and encourage parents’ participation
  • Enhance family functioning, develop self-help ability

- Learning Classes for Preschoolers -

Service Scope

Through various interesting means, such as games, singing and storytelling, etc., we enhance preschoolers’ Cantonese listening and speaking, and Chinese reading and writing, as well as their interest and confidence in learning Chinese, so as to help them prepare for primary education.

- Learning Together – Intensive After-school Tutorial Class -

Service Scope

  • Homework tutorial classes: Homework tutorial classes assist students in all academic subjects for studying and revising for tests and exams.
  • Diverse children developmental groups and programs: We provide social skills groups, emotion management groups, outdoor activities, parent-child activities, festival celebrations and other programs to encourage multi-faceted development of children, in aspects including mental, emotional, social and intellectual.
  • Parent support services: We provide regular workshops, talks and parent meetings to facilitate parents’ understanding in students’ learning needs, and equipping parents with effective parenting skills and strategies.
  • Family counseling: Registered social workers are available to provide family counseling and consultation services to enhance parent-child relationship and strengthen family function.

- Summer Learning Together – Summer Tutorial Class -

Service Scope

  • Assisting students to finish their holiday homework
  • Scheduling core subjects revision time to prepare students for the new school year
  • FREE outdoor activities for students to widen their horizons in summer holidays

P.1-P.6 students (including local Chinese and Ethnic Minorities)

Class time

  • From July to the end of August (except public holiday and specified holidays of the Centre)
  • Every Mon, Wed & Fri
  • 2:15pm – 4:15pm
