Hong Kong Society for the Protection of Children William Grimsdale Day Creche

With effect from January 1, 2025, the eligibility of application for our day creche service will be changed from "Upon completing the registration form and five months prior to the expected date of childbirth “to the following: "Upon completing the registration form and holding a pregnancy certificate issued by a Hong Kong registered doctor." The documents can be submitted via email, post, or in-person.

Kind Reminder: The day creche will be closed for the designated holiday from Monday, February 16, 2026 to Monday, February 23, 2026, is the designated holiday for the day creche, with February 17 to 19, 2026, being public holidays. The day creche will resume services on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. For any inquiries, please email wg@hkspc.org, and we will reply after service resumes. We apologize for any inconvenience caused!

Environment and Facilities

Established as early as in 1966, our Day Crèche has undergone a significant renovation in the past 5 years and become a much more comfortable and warm living environment for babies. Our day crèche is divided into 3 areas:

Activity room for 0-1.5 years old – 2 floor activity areas, dining area, sleeping area, and changing and cleaning area.

Activity room for 1.5-3 years old – multi-purpose activity area, table games area, visual art area, discovery area, reading area and children’s washroom.

Exploration Paradise – located at the lobby, it is equipped with crash barriers all over the floor and walls, special lighting effect, a large climbing frame and sensory exploration facilities for all children to play with.

Monthly Fee

Monthly fee: HK$5,620 (including milk powder provided by the crèche)

The fee adjustment will be approved by the Government every September. Families in need can apply for Kindergarten and Child Care Centre Fee Remission Scheme. Approval is based on the financial condition of each family and the approved sum to the most extend may cover the whole monthly fee.
