We have established the HKSPC Child Safeguarding Academy earlier this year to provide our staff with systematic and comprehensive professional training and support to promote a child safeguarding culture centred on children’s developmental needs.
A group of volunteers visited CRH on 5 February to provide hairdressing service to more than 30 young children. We hereby extend our sincere thanks and appreciate to the volunteers for their valuable time and heartfelt dedication!
The Children’s Residential Home Reform Project is concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony, recognising the new team of frontline child care workers who achieved a service quality certified to the ITERS/ECERS.

In collaboration with the the Department of Psychology of HKU, the “Jumping Beans” ADHD support group has received a lot of positive feedbacks and recognition.
As an organisation with over 95 years of history, HKSPC has an unshaken commitment to child protection despite various challenges and difficulties emerged over the years.
We have established new departments and positions comprised of executives with extensive experience in the fields in order to improve our governance and transform the agency’s overall work culture.
These few months with the Society have been the most challenging yet meaningful time of my work life. Given this important role, I pledge to do my utmost for our children’s wellbeing, together with colleagues and stakeholders, under the leadership of the Executive Committee.
In collaboration with HKU, we launched a 2-year evaluation research for a parent-child parallel group service involving more than 100 K2 and K3 students with or at risk of ADHD, as well as their parents.
