Digital Technology Lead

Job Responsibilities:

  • Direct a multi-disciplinary IT servicing team across core infrastructure, networking, helpdesk support, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Manage vendor and contractor partnerships to execute digital projects on schedule, within budget, and align with technical specifications.
  • Serve as technology advisor to senior management and stakeholders on digital transformation initiatives, technology roadmaps, IT strategy, and budgeting.
  • Strengthen digital governance, technical documentation, and incident response protocols to ensure system uptime and operational resilience.
  • Lead and drive cybersecurity on data protection initiatives to safeguard sensitive data, ensuring full compliance applicable regulations
  • Direct enterprise cybersecurity policies and data protection protocols, ensuring total compliance with PDPO regulations for high-volume sensitive data.
  • Promote a proactive, innovative, and solutions-oriented digital culture that directly supports society’s mission and long-term sustainability.

 

Requirements:

  • A Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant IT / Digital experience, preferably in an NGO, social service, or public sector, with a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Proven track record in implementing and maintaining robust system protection services including system modernization, patch management, system monitoring, cybersecurity solutions, business continuity, resilience, backup and disaster recovery, data protection strategies.
  • Experience in IT infrastructure and cloud technology (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/VM hosting on AWS/Azure/AliCloud, Microsoft 365 ecosystem, Microsoft Teams / Google Workspace Collaborative Platform, SharePoint Administration, Active Directory/EntraID, Windows Server/IIS/SQL Server/MySQL, Networking, WiFi, IoT solutions).
  • Solid experience in project and vendor management, IT budgeting, Tender/RFQ/RFP preparation & process, and cost optimization.
  • Experience in AI adoption, analytics, automation is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude, proactive, and a mission-driven mindset committed to service excellence.
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred.
