The HKSPC Child Safeguarding Academy hosted the “Safeguarding Children’s Holistic Development” Inter-professional Collaboration Seminar on July 2, which attracted over 130 social workers, teachers, other childcare professionals, and parents to participate.

The speakers include Dr. Ruby Lo (Chief Executive Officer of Social Policy Research Limited), Dr. Czarina Leung (Founder of Be Priceless), Mr. Angus Au (registered occupational therapist), Ms. Joyce Chan (registered dietitian in Australia), and Mr. Oscar Chan (educational psychologist of HKSPC). They shared insights on how to understand and support children's physical and psychological health as well as behaviors. They also provide tips to strengthen parent-child relationships to foster better lives and happy childhoods for children.

In addition to sharing their professional experiences, the speakers interacted with the audience by answering their questions and facilitating discussions on related topics. We are delighted to have built this platform, which enables practitioners in the field of child welfare to connect. This facilitated the exchange of social resources and opportunities for future collaboration. HKSPC will continue to strive for the child safeguarding culture to create a better future for our children.
