Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, optimize, and support IT infrastructure (network, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud, Office 365, endpoints, data centre, etc.)
- Provide hands-on administration and advanced troubleshooting for VMware virtualization
- Manage cloud infrastructure including migration, hybrid setups, cost optimization, and security
- Review current IT environment and implement standards, best practices, and procedures
- Handle full-cycle technical tasks including procurement support, product/platform evaluation, implementation, maintenance, patching, backup & disaster recovery, and asset management
- Deliver expert IT support to end users, departments, and company events
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors on infrastructure projects
- Perform ITSM processes, performance monitoring, capacity planning, and reporting to ensure high availability and reliability of IT systems
- Lead technical cybersecurity tasks including vulnerability management, patching, and incident response
- Support and mentor the IT helpdesk team on complex issues
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT infrastructure experience in a sizable organization; NGO sector experience is an advantage)
- Strong expertise in VMware virtualization (design, implementation, optimization, and troubleshooting)
- Proven track record in cloud technologies: migration, hybrid cloud, IaaS/PaaS/SaaS, cost optimization, and cloud security
- Solid experience in patch management, monitoring, backup & disaster recovery, and cybersecurity
- Good knowledge of IT governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
- Broad technical knowledge across network infrastructure (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi), firewalls, servers, storage systems, Active Directory, Windows platforms, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and CCTV systems
- Demonstrated experience in project delivery, vendor management, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic NGO environment
- Proactive mindset, strong ownership, team player with excellent teamwork and communication skills
